Girl Scouts love to travel—from the field trips they take as Brownies to the global adventures they go on as teens. If you love exploring different places and cultures, then Girl Scouts is the place for you.
You can experience all that our country has to offer, whether you’re “blasting off” at Space Camp in Alabama, taking in a Broadway show in New York City, or visiting the birthplace of Girl Scouts’ founder, Juliette Gordon Low, in Savannah, Georgia. And you can plan even bigger adventures around the world, traveling with other Girl Scouts who share your love of adventure.
Check out Girl Scout Destinations, the ultimate adventure program for girls ages 11 and older. With a ton of different trips to apply for every year—from surfing camp on the east coast and breathtaking hikes out west, to the crazy-cool wonder of new cultures abroad—there’s something amazing for everyone to experience.

What is a Destination?
Destinations are your chance to push yourself out of your comfort zone, make new friends that last a lifetime, and visit all the places you've dreamed about.
Destinations are girl-only one to two-week travel events sponsored by Girl Scout councils, or by GSUSA and a partner such as WAGGGS. These trips are interest-specific and there's a perfect trip for every girl!
Where do I find a list of the Destinations?
Everything you need to know about Destinations can be found on the GSUSA Destinations website, including a full listing of 2022 & 2023 Destinations. Please note that new Destinations are posted each year starting between August and September.
Who is eligible?
Most events are for Cadettes and above, or girls in grades 6-12. However, some trips have different age restrictions, so be sure to check each Destination.
How do I apply?
Apply using the online application on GSUSA's destination website! You may apply to a maximum of four Destinations.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance directly from trip sponsors. Congratulations, and bon voyage!
